On the afternoon of December 4th, 2007 Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and other City Counsel members joined Chabad in a grand Menorah Lighting ceremony and celebration.

Residents and working people came together on March 20th 2008 and celebrated the festive day of Purim. Comedian Avi Lieberman entertained and all enjoyed the great food and drinks.

Our public Sukkah was constructed in Joe’s Auto Lot on the corner of 5th and Hill. The Sukkah was a Jewish hub of activity as many came to eat, socialize and even study Torah throughout the holiday. |

The joyous holiday of Purim was celebrated once again in the magnificent Los Angeles theater. Tasty wines and cheeses were enjoyed and magician Erik Tait entertained. It was a party to be remembered! |

Chabad held its annual Menorah lighting at the Los Angeles City Hall. We were joined by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and almost the entire City Counsel. Holiday treats, music and dance was enjoyed by all.
